The Week Ahead

The market is still strong and continues to defy the naysayers. I’m in full trade mode. CPI on Wednesday worth noting. I am looking at my November & December Top Picks closely for continuation moves. (See bottom of newsletter). We are however certainly never far off some sort of correction or 3 day down move. So I am still hitting and running and keeping things tight. November was an easy money environment, my aim is to hit singles into year end. There is a lot of noise right now about big winners like APP etc. stocks are regularly moving 40% in a day. Do not get distracted or disheartened by this stuff if you didn’t catch them. Don’t chase. Prepare for the next and mute the people that make you feel like that. It doesn’t matter a jot what anyone else is doing. This is just about you.

After some strong moves last week in DOCU, RBRK, ASAN, CRDO etc. there are some solid opportunities this coming week. Notably Monday evening with AI, ORCL, BRZE, TOL. Tuesday morning ASO and OLLI may be movers. ADBE is my highlight of the week. Expectations are not overly high, any decent surprise or good news could cause a solid move. It would be rude not to mention GME after Roaring Kitty came back to life again last week. Earnings Tuesday evening.

AVGO, COST & RH round off the week of earnings on Thursday evening.

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
