Highlights: Cybersecurity, Retail, SaaS Earnings & AWS Conference..

The Week Ahead

We are back in full swing now for the run up to Christmas. I am excited by the opportunities that will be presented from now into the New Year. I expect a lot of volatility and the market to focus on the Trump narrative with regard to comments he makes, who he appoints etc. In a similar way that the market has reacted over the past few years to anything Speaker Powell says.

There are some great earnings this week with a focus on Retail: AEO, DLTR, DG, LULU, ULTA and Cyber Security: ZS, S, OKTA along with some SaaS: ASAN, GTLB, DOCU, CRM. Another highlight is the AWS Re:Invent conference that will be on all week. This will likely impact: chips, AI, Datacenters etc. We have also had some very speculative hot running themes in Drone Stocks, Quantum Computing, Nuclear etc. I think it’s good to try to trade these but do not get sucked into believing any of it and be prepared for extreme news driven swings and short reports on them. Below are my focuses into next week. I expect there to be some great Day One movers here as well as delayed reaction setup opportunities.
