TLDR Stocks in Play: Pretty Much Nothing….
Welcome to today's Stocks in Play report. Below are the key stocks to watch, along with brief x-ray and analysis.

Honorable Mention to: Pretty much nothing…. FIVE reacted positively but it’s coming right into the top of a channel and the guide was bad and analysts are cutting expectations. I feel like it’s a fade, DBI - again nothing great, high short interest maybe that works, ACN - reasonably inline results but miss on guide. Potential for a bounce maybe at key level but I’m not too confident. PDD - may work as a short, but not something I’m concentrating on…
On days like this I think this newsletters offers more by accepting that there is nothing particularly good here in Stocks in Play rather than me attempting to throw a dart and pick something that might work. Stay patient and see what happens in the first hour or so of the market…
Market Awareness
The more we hang around here the more we start to look like the market takes another leg down. I’m not bearish but we absolutely need to push up soon or else the move downward becomes more and more likely. That being said we’re not there yet and the market certainly doesn’t like to make things easy. I’d guess that the next move will likely also be narrative driven whether Tariff induced or some other news story. For now there are opportunities each day even as we chop even if the Stocks in Play world is about as quiet as I’ve seen. I am concentrating (like a broken record) on big liquid names, PLTR, TSLA, AVGO, GOOG etc. from my top picks universe. Taking what I can from the market each day and really trying to grind it out.
I know there are areas out performing like China, Commodities etc. however I have always found these difficult as they are incredibly potent to big gaps even when trending.

After Hours I’m Watching: MU, QUBT, NKE, FDX (Earnings)
Tomorrow Morning I’m Watching: QBTS, DG, FUTU (Earnings)

PS: There are many ways to trade stocks in play. It does not have to be the one that keeps going straight up and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be day one of the catalyst. Everyone must find a setup, timeframe and method that works for them. This list is supposed to educate on the criteria I use and the methods in which I find Stocks in Play. Yours may differ and that is completely okay.
