1) Intel (INTC) (Rating: C+, Single-Day)

Industry Group: Semiconductors, Market Cap: $92b,  Float: 4.3b, Short Interest: 2.9%, Days to Cover: 1.4, Exchange: NASDAQ

Catalyst: TSM have pitched to NVDA, AMD, QCOM & AVGO about taking a stake in Intel’s foundry business. Under the proposal TSMC would run the operations. Intel have been rumored to be looking to offload their foundry business. Difficult to know how much this follows through. We are up 8% pre market. On the face of it then it should have the potential to have legs but INTC is such a flakey stock that a fade is possible. That being said I’m watching it today.

Honorable Mention to: GRPN - Groupon has reacted positively to earnings. Beat on revs. Big miss on EPS but seems to be related to a one off expenditure. Positive management outlook. The very low float of 20m and very high Short interest, 35%, 7.65 Days to Cover has me interested.

PLTR - PLTR are teasing new product announcements for tomorrow hosting their AIPCon. I expect some leaks or rumor today that could move the stock. It’s my main market proxy for the day. Link to Live Stream for tomorrow: https://www.youtube.com/live/0hBIjaU2N_s

Market Awareness

We had an attempt of a local bottom in the market yesterday. We have CPI coming up. The fate of the market depends on this today. Expect volatility and a potential fake initial move that reverses later. There is still a big case here to stick to ETFs as everything is correlated and to be patient. Don’t chase a big move out of the CPI. Be patient. ADBE after hours is a big watch for me.
